Interaction Designer
As an Interaction Designer, you’ll be responsible for crafting thoughtful interactions that guide users smoothly through digital products.
Your role is centered on understanding user behavior, creating intuitive flows, and designing interactions that feel natural, responsive, and enjoyable.
You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product teams, developers, and researchers to ensure every touchpoint—from buttons to animations—enhances usability and creates a consistent product experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user flows, interaction patterns, and micro-interactions for web and mobile products.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure interactions align with visual design and user goals.
- Create prototypes to demonstrate interaction behaviors and transitions.
- Conduct usability testing to validate interaction design decisions.
- Work with developers to implement interactions accurately and smoothly.
- Build and maintain interaction guidelines, design systems, and component behaviors.
- Analyze user feedback and data to refine interaction logic.
- Stay updated with the latest interaction design trends, animation principles, and UX standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related fields.
- 1–4 years of experience in interaction design, product design, or UX roles.
- Strong understanding of user behavior, motion principles, and interactive patterns.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Prototyping tools (Principle, ProtoPie).
- Solid understanding of usability principles and accessibility guidelines.
- Ability to communicate complex interactions clearly to both designers and developers.
